How to Earn While You Learn

1. Stay on point

Make it a priority to learn as much about your industry as you can. It’s always best to assume that you only know a fraction of what is currently going on.

2. Make time for learning 

Learning becomes effective when you are in the right place and in the right time. So, allocate a specific portion of the day figuring out how to use new apps or creating new strategies.

3. Read about what’s hot

The internet has provided you with the means to stay up-to-date, so take time reading blogs, magazines, and infographics that are relevant to your line of business.

4. Take notes

Whether you prefer using a note-taking app or old-fashioned pen and paper, capturing ideas and making lists helps you organize information into consumable bits. Writing things down impresses the thought in your mind, even if you never refer back to the original note.

5. Start a new project

Is there something you want to try out, like a new product or a podcast series? Setting up a specific goal allows you to encounter new things along the way. 

6. Grow your network

Join webinars or roundtable discussions with other business owners. Chances are, you will run into information that’s fresh and worth exploring yourself.

7. Start educating others

Teaching is also a form of learning, so try to reach out to those who also want to build their own businesses

8. Change the way you learn

You could get easily burnt out if you are using a particular learning channel for too long. If you think you get easily tired reading lengthy blog posts, consider watching videos or listening to podcasts for a change.

9. Learn with others

If you know another business owner seeking to start afresh, you can reach out to them and find space to collaborate. Not only will you be able to grow your network, but you also get to learn how others approach a new concept. 

10. Stay open 

Be bold enough to try new things! You can never win in business if you prefer to settle with what you have at the moment.
